Oh my! Nip/Tuck has been so crazy, creepy, dirty this season that I get a little nervous now before each episode begins. Needless to say, I STILL LOVE IT! Unfortunately, after last weeks episode that had our dear Christian having sex with "brown paper bag over the head girl," I had to call up my mom and forbid her to watch any further episodes. So much has been happening this season it's hard to keep track! How about Kimber being the latest Carver victim and locked in that dark cell pitt? ( I KNEW she couldn't have left Christian at the alter!), Matt's turned into an anti-semitic freak, Julia has gone over the edge with stupidity and that Quentin is just, ugh, major yuckies! I had brunch on Sunday with my buddy who runs the fab popbytes and we talked major Nip/Tuck-age not to mention, threw around our theories of who we thought the Carver was. You MUST go read his hilarious Nip/Tuck post on his various Carver theories. Our most popular consensus would have to be Roma Maffia's character, Liz the anesthesiologist because she is 1) a dispensable character 2) unpredictable 3) It would break your heart if it was her, because, gosh darn...we all like Liz! I can't wait until the last episode of the season to find out who The Carver really is!
Until then, it looks as though The Carver has turned to MySpace to try and make some new friends, even possibly find a date! In a brilliant marketing move, the peeps at Nip/Tuck have set up an ultra creepy ass MySpace profile of our lovely Carver, complete with a video message that will freak you out when you watch it. That voice scares me!! The Carver's profile says he/she is 100 years old and "According To Jim" is it's favorite TV show. The Carver has already done 3 blog entries, check them out! First of all, thank you so much for posting Nip/Tuck...you know how much I love it. Now my theory...which I have had from the begining is that Julia is the Carver. It would be shocking-which is what the show is all about. And I think she is very capable (especially after seeing tonight's episode).
Please don't let it be Liz...I love that wisecracking lesbian who gives it right back to my sex machine-Christian Troy.
And I thought the same as you TW- there was no way Kimber would leave that hunk at the alter. I just feel so bad for him..he's so hurt...I think he needs some lovin from me..
oh my gosh - brunch sure did a little nip/tuck investigation good - without you i may not have come down to dr. liz - and the whole last name being CRUZ - with a C as in CARVER - it just popped into my head - i hope she is the carver as it would be a good twist - without killing the show! i can't wait to see tonight's episode - i am doing the encore airing!
By the way... My friend has been dead-set since the beginning thinking it is Liz ;o)
We've been talking about this almost since the start of the season. I said from day 1 it was Quentin as you can see from my blog. However, he's too obvious of a choice unless there is a huge twist in the story to go along with it!
Subliminal messages...Gotta do all the research when it comes to serial killers..Turn your moniter upside down and pause it just right for eerie shadows and a hint as to who it is....
What i love about this show is that it turns corners that no one expects. Their whole MO has been shock value. My theory is that Christian is the carver. They won't get rid of him - he'll plead insanity, go to a mental institution and wind up seducing his new psychologist who will give him early release. Then, while he is in the nut house, Julia will finish school and become the next new Plastic Surgeon with the practice and she and Sean will be equals. (Gina will take over the spa). Matt? I haven't got that figured out yet.
Anonymous: Matt will marry Eva or the pissing Tranny of course! BTW, I LOVE your idea about Christian going into a mental institution and seducing the doctor. Now that, would be very Nip/Tuck. ;)
