YEP. ANGELINA JOLIE ADOPTING AGAIN.
At first it appeared to be just another rumor, but today, reports have come out that Angelina Jolie has filed papers to adopt a Vietnamese child. The news has come from the agency director for Vietnam's International Adoption Agency who claims Jolie filed papers this week. BUT the most interesting part about this is that Angelina reportedly applied to adopt as a single parent, Granted, I have no idea how these adoption things work and maybe since Pitt & Jolie are not married, it's easier for her to first get the baby and then Brad adopt later? Who the hell knows. It all could be very telling about the state of the couple's relationship, or, mean nothing at all.Source: AP

You are correct, that is the way it works. Since they are not married she can adopt the child and then Brad adopts him/her once back in the states.
I know for a fact that the wait time for a Vietnamese child is approximately 15 - 18 months from the time all of your paperwork is finished, notarized, certified, etc.(home study reports, agency papers, forms, forms and more forms etc).
Let's see how long it is before a star with tons of money is holding her new child. I bet it won't be 1/2 that long.
will someone please give her a pregnant dog so she can scratch this "I must adopt" itch. How about raising the children you have. Poor Shiloh is not even a year old yet and AJ is bored and wants another kid.

2:15- You make it sound like this is just a phase she is going through. As much as I don't like the woman, I really respect the fact that she is adopting. She has the money, the resources, and she obviously loves her children. She adopts because she is able to take children that would otherwise have a life of living in a subpar orphanage and gives them a family. I'd like to adopt too someday, though not as many as her because I won't have that much money. But I'd like to think that other people see what she is doing and take a similar initiative. There are thousands upon thousands of children in the world without homes, without parents.
i agree with 2:09...she is doing good in this world by adopting these poor children out of a system that is over-loaded so have alittle compassion, folks.
She will be firing Brad's ass out of the house because she no longer needs him for the dog & pony show she put on for her mother. She likes her child puchases more than her own offspring so Brad won't even show up on her radar.
If she really cared about foreign kids, she wouldn't stay in 5-star hotels & would instead spread that cash around to help the kids.
They probably won't stop adopting until they have a mini-United Nations of kids running around their house.
Oh, heavens to Betsy, I am so sick of this woman. She has no idea what she is doing and is running around collecting babies like some people collect matchbook covers. Doesn't she know she could probably buy little shotglasses in the duty-free shops that say "Viet Nam" or some such stuff on them for a lot less cost and maintenance? I agree with the poster above: hey, Ang, why not try raising the kiddos you already have. Newsflash: it doesn't exactly get easier as they get older. And why not adopt an American child? We have orphans, too! What a nut.
As a "waiting" international adoptive parent.. the ignorance of some of the previous comments is nothing short of insulting. AJ IS raising her children.. have you ever seen one ounce of neglect or unhappiness in those childrens eyes, I think not. AND have you ever looked into adopting an orphan in this country... it's not as easy as you think, as we have some of the most backwards adoptions laws and the rate of disruption from birth mothers in this country is the most of any country dealing with adoption. So get off your high horses.. and do some actual research before you open your uninformed mouths... And yes for an INFANT from Vietnam it is about 15 months to referral, but AJ is looking into adopting a "waiting child" which is much faster, doesn't have anything to do with money, and quite admirable.
angelina and brad are giving good lives to children who would have been in miserable situations--i think some people are jealous of angelina's money and looks- leave brad and angelina alone and let them love their children

No one is "jealous". As someone said before, she could just stop living extravagently and do other things other than flying around the world finding babies she likes.
katrene4, you are undoubtedly a pathetic celebrity worshipper..."angelina and brad"? You drinking buddies or something? Castigating these morons for collecting kids hardly equates to being "jealous." Personally, I think Miss Jolie is a pig. Even though she is a "star," there are ways to keep these type of things quiet, personal, and out of the public. Quite telling that she seems to do these things with the press in tow.

So what if AJ wants to adopt children and can jump the line. That just means that the child will get to be out of a horrible situation all the faster. I think what we need to look at is why it takes so long, why the gov. of these countires drag their feet while disadvantaged children suffer in these situations. I am a mother that adopted a 11 year old child from local fostercare just because my husband and I could help someone else. That's what life is all about...doing something outside of yourself. If the child ends up with a rich star as family then GREAT fate has finally gave the child a break....we can save the world one person at a time.
