ANNA NICOLE & HOWARD K. STERN TELL ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT THEIR 500TH EXCUSE OF WHY ANNA SHOULDN'T HAVE TO SUBMIT TO A PATERNITY TEST.
Anna Nicole Smith and "partner" Howard K. Stern will be on Entertainment Tonight Monday to talk about the latest drama with Anna Nicole refusing to submit baby Dannielynn to a paternity test. Anna and Howard tell ET:
"It's always a battle. It's always a fight," Anna says about her day-to-day struggles and allegations by LARRY BIRKHEAD that he, not Howard, is the father of her 5-month-old baby girl. Which raises the question, why not take a paternity test and get the whole thing over with?"Why should I?" she responds. "I mean, I'm going through the court systems. I'm doing what my attorneys tell me. It's crazy to me that it's gone this far for him to go to a judge and say, 'Oh, I want Anna Nicole Smith to take a paternity [test] just because [she's] Anna Nicole Smith,' and we have to do it. I'm just like any other Joe Schmoe, and I have my rights, and I'm not gonna just because of everything he's put me through." When asked if she would submit her daughter to a DNA test if asked to by the local Bahamian authorities, Anna Nicole says, "I would," but until that day comes, "it's not going to happen." "We're following the law," adds Howard. "Just because Anna's a celebrity, doesn't mean you get to go to the media and all of a sudden [we] have to do whatever you want. What people don't understand is that we've got a lot of things that are going on right now, the most important of which is that we're trying to deal with Daniel's loss. All these things, they're like distractions, but just look; Larry Birkhead saying, 'I want a paternity test' doesn't mean that Anna Nicole automatically has to give a DNA test. It just doesn't."
Hmm...okay, if they don't want Larry Birkhead involved, then how about just having Howard do a DNA test with the baby? If they did that and prove he is the father, then everyone might shut the hell up, leave them alone and they could get on with their lives and deal with the loss of Daniel. In the interview, Howard will also be asked about the tabloid accusations that he gave Daniel the methadone which contributed to his death. Even though these two will probably be lying through their teeth the entire time, it sounds like it's going to be some juicy stuff.

if i knew the man i loved was the father and some psycho dude was forcing a paternity test on me i wouldn't consent either. i'm on anna's side.
i'm sorry, the baby isn't his and that's why they are all doing this. if it were, then stern would do the dna test and they'd be plastering the results on the front page of every paper that would run the story.
This is all stall tactics.
Larry is the baby's daddy---we all know it. Anna is f'in crazy and so is her crack pot boyfriend. They deserve eachother.
I just feel sorry for that baby.

she probably already had howard take the DNA test AND he failed so now they are in some deep shit and they know it. that baby has no chance to be normal-unless it is birkhead's.
i always side with the mother. she hasn't done anything wrong and that's HER fucking child. she didn't bring a baby into the world to have her DNA tested. idk, i think yall are being really judgemental and expect too much. i can relate to her, but i bet none of yall can when it comes to this sort of thing.

Dad's have rights too, and if I was a man and I had a child out there, I'd want to know about it. Why is it fair that he NOT know the truth?? It's not a matter of taking sides---it's about doing the RIGHT THING. Besides, Birkhead is probably freaked out thinking his child is in the hands of those 2 coo coo birds. I'd be freaking out too.
Maybe one should consider NOT sleeping with 2 men in such close proximity that she doesn't know who fathered her baby. I don't know.....just an idea.
ok, Im reading this on tuesday...somebody tell me what happened on the show???!!! From the pic you have there anna looks totally jacked up. I feel for her. IMHO Howard's got her real stoned all the time. Time for your medicine sweetie...funny...wasnt she like that with the rick old man she married. Karma, baby, karma
unless the test was done, it is Birkhead's, they dont want anyone to know and the people who did it are being bribed into not telling anyone....

The bottom line is that Birkhead is the father. That can be the only reason they don't want to submit to a test.
If Howard K. Stern were really smart, he'd have a whole character assassination ready to go on this guy, then schedule the paternity test.
Next he'd help Anna Nicole get her child away from the bad guy, the "unfit father." Running from a simple test makes them look bad. (And selling all the Bahamas pics makes 'em look really bad.)

the only reason, as others stated, that ANS doesn't want to submit to a paternity test is because the baby is Birkheads. if the baby were Stern's, they would have (as someone said) taken the DNA test and had the results sent to EVERY entertainment news outlet. you "always side with the mother"? what if the mother is a psycho drug addict who's shown her nuttiness to the entire world on her reality show? one whose son died under mysterious circumstances with a drug in his system that SHE was taking? one who PROFITED from her son's death just DAYS after he died? do you STILL side with the mother? just because she's "the mother"?
if the baby isn't birkhead's, she should submit to the test just to shut him up and get him off her case. at least that way she'd have some hard evidence in her favor. this "I shouldn't have to take the test" nonsense only strengthens people's perceptions that the baby is birkhead's.
