AMERICAN IDOL ANNOUNCES THIS SEASON'S GUEST STARS.
It was announced on American Idol last night that a bunch of guests would be visiting the show this season. Most notably, Gwen Stefani, Jennifer Lopez and Diana Ross. Other's include: Jon Bon Jovi, Martina McBride, Barry Gibb and '60s stars Lulu and Peter Noone from Herman's Hermits. It's good that the show is trying to mix things up this season, but it was unclear if the guests will appear as guest judges or just be there to perform and "mentor the kids" over the week. I'm hoping they will at least be part of doing the judging, because watching a celebrity try to do criticism but still be nice is so entertaining. Anyway, I am most looking forward to seeing Gwen Stefani. Jennifer Lopez, I'm not the biggest fan of her music, but am definitely obsessed with all her romantic comedy movies, so that will be cool too. Lastly, I'm just hoping Diana Ross will do something nutty and hopefully show up drunk.
To be honest, unlike previous years, I am really not into Idol yet. Maybe it's because I've only watched it in bits and pieces. So far I haven't seen anyone that grabs my interest like Chris Daughtry, Bo Bice or Constantine. Is it just me, or does Idol really suck this season? If not, let me know who your favorite is so I can keep a look out for them.

Girl.
The guys are just horrible- except the BeBop guy with the blond spikey hair- he's cute. But not worthy of Idol title. This year its all about the women- and as Simon says the women that can Belt it Out. LaKisha is amazing- she is the one to watch....but Ms. Doolittle might give her a run for her money.
Love the guest star line up this year. Pretty impressive.
Yeah, the guys pretty much suck this year. There are 2 guys I like. One is Blake and the other is Chris (he has a cool Justin Timberlake vibe). The rest are just so-so.
The girls are going to kick some ass this year I think. There's several that are super talented, but 2 of them are back-up singers, so they have a lot of experience. The one chick ( I can't remember her name)belted out a Jennifer Hudson song from Dreamgirls and brought the house down!
I think it's going to be a good season. Give it some time. Sorry but nothing could be worse than Clay vs. Rueben. That sucked!!!
Lakisha is the best so far, in my opinion...however, I think that Phil Stacy is the best guy (the guy that missed his daughters birth to audition)....
Have you seen the dirty Antonella Barba pics? She got more searches today than Britney did...imagine!!
This season is dull, but I'm going to keep watching to find out what the big surprise is that will be announced in a few weeks....anyone have any ideas?

no...hes not going to perform on the show...apparently, there is going to be a surprise "bigger than anything thats happened in the last 5 seasons" and it will have to do with america and american idol or something like that....people seem to think that it will be announced when the top 12 are announced...
i really dont know much about it, but i read the speculations on americanidol.com's message boards...theres an official thread on it!
I had to laugh when I heard that Jennifer Lopez was going to be a guest on AI this season. I guess now that her career has hit a low point, she's decided that AI is a worthy show to appear on.
I haven't been watching it this season (I've decided to wait until the top 6 or 7), but I feel that's it's going to be the girls' year.
Yeah, so I checked out the pic's of Antonella......
Some of them are just of her having fun w/ her girlfriends and some of them are what looks to be a bad attempt at some sexy modeling shots. No big deal. BUT then I found 2 of her giving a BJer to some guy.....NICE!
I'm assuming someone she thought was her friend really isn't and is leaking the shit all over the internet. Wonder if her mama has seen these yet? Yikes!!!!
TW, i agree...i'd love to see Ms.Ross show up with a buzz...maybe paula and her can hit up the bubbly b4 they go on! only one can hope :-)
The BJ pics are gross as well as the toilet shots....yuck!! I know that its a big deal over at Fox because I read on the official boards that Fox was supposed to issue a statement on the air Wednesday night about Antonella's pics but they experienced "technical difficulties"....Theres no doubt in my mind that the pics kept her on the show...It wasn't her looks because last year Becky O'Donahue (who was MUCH prettier) was sent out the first week....America LOVES scandal and toilet shots
American Idol already has one stupid drunk on the show, now Diana makes two? Is this to get ratings. How about Courtney Love, or Lindsey Lohan. If they really want to send the ratings through the roof, bring on Britney.
