TERI GARR RECOVERING FROM SURGERY FOR BRAIN ANEURYSM.
Oh no! PEOPLE is reporting that Actress Teri Garr had to have surgery for a brain aneurysm recently. Teri's 12 year old daughter and a woman on Garr's staff called 911 after they apparently could not wake Garr on the morning of December 21st. She was rushed to the hospital where according to Garr's reps, doctors then performed a "coil embolism." Thankfully, they are reporting that she made it through the surgery okay and the rep adds, "She's alert. She's sitting up. She's talking." "The prognosis is very, very good." Hooray! Ugh, usually you just hear about people dying from brain anuerysms and with all the deaths that happened over the past week (RIP James Brown, Gerald Ford), It's good to hear that Teri's recovering well.
