BARBARA WALTERS PUTS DONALD TRUMP IN HIS PLACE.
So much for Donald Trump's longwinded, annoying comments to everyone and anyone who would listen claiming that Barbara Walters told him she regretted hiring Rosie O'Donnell on The View. It all started when Trump got his little ego bruised a couple weeks ago when O'Donnell made some comments about him, one being that he had filed for bankruptcy in his past. Today Walters had to get back to work and start putting out some fires. She read a prepared statement from ABC stating that it was Trump's casino's that filed for bankruptcy, not Trump personally. Ohhhhh, okay.PEOPLE reports on their website that Walters then went on to say the following about O'Donnell and her spot on The View:
"But while I am clearing things up, Donald Trump also said that I am not happy with my decision to bring Rosie O'Donnell to this table. Nothing could be further from the truth. I have never regretted, nor do I now, the hiring of Rosie O'Donnell." "She has brought a new vitality to the show, and the ratings prove it." She also cited praise O'Donnell has received from critics in The New York Times, Entertainment Weekly and USA Today. "Next Monday," Walters said, bringing the topic to a close, "we will all welcome her back with open arms, yes?" And with that, the studio audience and the other women at the desk burst into prolonged applause.

Rosie is hilarious, and what she said about Donald was true. STILL, it was probably kind of stupid on her part to say what she said. Donald didn't do anything wrong, he gave the girl a second chance, he was sweet about it. He owns the freaking MISS USA (or whatever) organization. He could of done anything and he decided to let her back. now, think about that. Still, Rosie is the bomb.

Rosie is a comedian...they get paid to say funny things about others in the spotlight. She's the first one to make fun of herself.

The only problem with Donald Trumps statements about Rosie is that he didn't take it far enough. She is an insult to womanhood, and the most disgusting creature on this planet. I used to like Babawa, but lost all respect for her when she put that disgusting creature on the view. I have not, and will not ever watch her show again, even tho it used to be a favorite.
I once liked Rosie, but she let on she was a different person then. Now she comes off like she is not a very nice person, and I no longer like her at all. All of my sympathies go out to her Lesbian lover. As they say, much better her than me!
why are people still talking about this? trump looks a mess. and the only reason any woman would be with him is the money. look at his lips-would you want to kiss them??????? as the saying goes "NO HONEY, WITHOUT MONEY"!!!!!!!!!! this is the only way for him to ever get a woman.
Rosie did far worse to the people working on her magazine. Pure selfishness on her part to try to turn it into a homecrafts project. Her name is a brand; many people depended on it. Musicians and actors have to compromise all the time. Who the hell does she think she is to blow off the experience of publishing pros for her own neophyte ideas. Very arrogant.
Finally, Barbara lied to Star Jones. So she's not exactly credible. Anything for ratings. That's why the hog-monster has free reign to say and do what she wants. Rosie used to be okay, but the So-Cute-She's-Obnoxious thing has worn out its welcome. Trump is the rational player between these two, and that's saying a lot.
I think Rosie is permanently jealous of pretty women and got catty when Trump gave the contest winner a break. JMO.
Donald is a pig and cant take the truth...I was on the floor laughing when Rosie made those comments. They are soooooooooooo true. He is no moral God for my daughters...Cheating dork who keeps buying new wifes like we all buy new and better cars...(I have 1 great hubby and 2 great kids) I am not a bitter pill just a realist!!!!
Oh Please. If a MAN had said what Rosie said he wouldn't have said a damn thing about it. Donald is a chauvanist who loves to take cheap shots. He's the one who keeps running his mouth and making personal insults. Rosie is paid on The View for giving her comments on day to day newsworthy items. If Donald had class he would shut his mouth and move on.
No amount of money can give him that though.
Trump has mucho more class compared to Rosie McDonald. But maybe it's all a ratings grab to get people talking about both shows.
The guy isn't a moral god because he isn't supposed to be. It wasn't part of the original story with the contest winner. Have no idea why Rosie built her slam on that. Trump runs the USA pageant and The Apprentice, both which provide opportunities to people trying to break in. Actors and models mostly, a few lawyers and realtors. So yes, he does have something of value to offer. Trump shouldn't have dropped down to her trailer trash level -- it just didn't work. Rosie looks trailer, and that's why she pulls this crap and gets away with it.
She's actually dumbing down morning television (apparently, it's possible). Sad.
In the short time Rosie has been on the View it has gone from high class, to low class, to no class. I don't watch anymore. I also agree with the person that said they are tired of hearing about Rosie's gay marriage on the View all the time. Rosie may increase the ratings for awhile but it will get old in a hurry. Bring back Starr she was a lot less offensive than Rosie!
Maybe Rosie has to come off this way because she has to put up with the grumpy old hagg barbara walters. Barbara is a stink her nose in the air bitch

ROSIE BLOWS UP AT 'LIAR' BABSJanuary 9, 2007 -- THE tension between "The View" creator Barbara Walters and co-host Rosie O'Donnell, sparked by O'Donnell's feud with Donald Trump, boiled over yesterday morning when the portly comic called Walters "a [bleeping] liar."
The fight started around 8:30 a.m. when Walters, back from a two-week vacation, walked into the hair and makeup room at ABC studios and tried to hug O'Donnell, whom she hired onto the popular show.
According to spies, O'Donnell recoiled from Walters' touch and yelled, "You kept me in the newspapers this whole time!"
Both "View" producer Bill Geddie and Walters tried to calm O'Donnell. Walters told her, "I did everything I could to squash the story" - prompting Rosie to scream, "You didn't call me for 10 goddamn days, and you didn't tell me what you were going to say on television!"
O'Donnell is fuming because Trump went on Larry King two weeks ago - after she had called Trump a "snake-oil salesman" - and said Walters told him she regretted hiring O'Donnell. Trump also blasted the comic as "a horrible human being and a loser."
During her vacation, Walters issued a carefully worded statement saying, "I'm sorry there is friction between Donald and Rosie. That said, I do not regret for one moment my choice to hire Rosie O'Donnell as the moderator of 'The View.' "
After O'Donnell's outburst at Walters yesterday, Geddie jumped in and told her, "You've crossed the line." O'Donnell retorted, "Cameras are now outside of my house where my wife and kids are." She turned to Walters and said, "You went all around this and never called [Trump] a liar. You never said, 'Donald is lying.' You never called him a liar."
When Walters tried to defend herself, O'Donnell erupted, "Are you looking me in the face and denying you didn't tell him you didn't say this? You're a [bleeping] liar."
Cindi Berger, a rep for both Walters and O'Donnell said, "Whatever happened in the hair and makeup room was hardly a squabble. It's business as usual, everyone has moved on."

Barbara LIED about Star Jones staying (she ADMITTED that when probed)and I suspect that she is LYING about what she said to Trump! She's no fool -- she knows Rosie is bad news and I suspect she shared those thoughts with the brilliant Donald Trump. Face it, Barbara, you LIED, you got caught, and the public will not trust you again. Hmmm . . . I smell something burning . . . could it be Barbara Walters pants (liar, liar, pants on fire!)?!?!?

I agree with the blogger who said we discovered Barbara lied about letting go of Star Jones (after boldly saying otherwise), and sure makes sense she is now trying backpedal because she doesn't want to look like a liar again (and probably has a really serious and potenually expense contract with Rosie). Barbara has lost all integrity, and I think this will all blow up in her face very soon. I don't think she has the "balls" to stand up to Rosie, or tell the truth to her audience.
Any one who attends the view has the I.Q. of an idiot. No ! that is insulting the idiots, lets just say they do not have I.Q's and leave it at that.
At one time I thought Rosie was
funny and entertaining, but now
she is everything but that. Although, the ratings have gone up

consider the fact that this woman
is reducing the caliber and credabilty of a program that has been respected by most woman.
I say this is a publicity stunt. Rosie is that person that will fill the empty chair in Donalds board room!!! and make all of us look silly for falling for this.
We all have to admit , it was funny when Rosie made fun of Trump, I really think The Donald overreacted. But honestly, the pagent girl should have lost her title, look what they did to Vanessa Williams. Was it because she was a black woman???
