MISS USA GETS TO KEEP THE CROWN.
After scandalous rumors of alleged underage drinking, cocaine use and "sexual indiscretions" that may or may not have included makeout sessions with Miss Teen USA, the reining Miss USA, Tara Connor, will not be losing her crown. Donald Trump held a press conference this morning announcing that Connor will be allowed to continue her reign as Miss USA, but will have to enter rehab to do so. At the start of the press conference Trump said, "I've always been a believer in second chances. Tara is a good person. Tara has tried hard. Tara is going to be given a second chance."
Connor was moved to tears by the announcement and told reporters, "Walking in this morning, in no way did I think it would be possible for a second chance. I've had a very big blessing bestowed upon me, you'll never know how much I appreciate Mr. Trump for saving me on this one," she said. "He could have said 'You're Fired;" he's a very, very compassionate person." Then Connor told Trump, "You'll never know what this means to me, and I swear I will not let you down."

Perhaps this is about Donald working his great PR skills, but it would also be great for people to see that second chances are possible. Everyone F's up at some time- it's about their ability to come clean and come back.
Sure, Lindsay Lohan says that she is going to AA meetings. But she still goes out almost every night and drinks. This woman has agreed to get help, and in doing so would earn my respect. If she can get clean, I think she would be a very strong role model for a lot of girls.

Vanessa Williams was dethroned in the Miss America pageant. It is a much more prestigious thing than Trump's tits and ass Miss USA pageant and that is why she was dethroned. Had nothing to do with race.

Well Donald Trump food for thought. Okay Tara is a good girl who just caught underage drinking in Nueva York. Giving her a second chance I understand compared to other former beauty queens who were terminated for having raunchy photos in girlie maganizes. Punishment for Miss USA if he breaks probation. Give her the videotape of Nuestra Belleza International 1997 and say IRIS IRIS IRIS AVILA when Iris appears on the television screen.
