NIP/TUCK JUMPS 20 YEARS INTO THE FUTURE AND ALSO BIDS FAREWELL TO JOELY RICHARDSON.
Holy moly! Has this not been the best season of Nip/Tuck or what? Make sure not to miss Tuesday night's episode where the show jumps 20 years into the future in "Conor McNamara, 2026."
The episode will also mark the departure of actress Joely Richardson who plays Julia McNamara. Richardson will be leaving the show for an unspecified amount of time to care for her 15 year old daughter Daisy who, according to an interview Richardson did with TV Guide, "is facing multiple surgeries on her leg due to a circulation problem with her veins." With the length of her daughter's recovery unknown, it's uncertain if Richardson will ever be able to return to the land of Nip/Tuck. Creator Ryan Murphy is still holding out hope and crossing his fingers for the possibility of a Richardson comeback. On the slim chance she can make it in time for the December 12th finale, Murphy told TV Guide he is writing two versions of the episode, one including Julia McNamara.
Oh no! What will the show be like without Julia? I love that character! Yet again, maybe it is a good time for Richardson to leave because it was going to be really hard for Murphy to come up with something that topped Julia nailing that midget.

"Conor McNamara, 2026"
"In the year 2026, an adult Conor attempts to mend his emotional wounds through a gathering of his entire family, while an adult Annie remains tormented by her own upbringing. In the present day, Julia accepts that fact that happiness means being on her own, as she departs Miami for New York, leaving Shawn and Christian behind for good."
