BIRKHEAD SUES FOR PATERNITY TEST.
It was only a matter of time before this happened. Larry Birkhead, Anna Nicole Smith's ex-boyfriend and possible father of her baby girl, Dannie Lynn Hope, has filed a lawsuit demanding a paternity test be performed on the child. Birkhead's lawyer Debra Opri told the AP that Birkhead filed the lawsuit because his attempts to communicate with Anna have been ignored. "The access had been cut off about the time of the birth of the child," she said. Opri also told the AP that Birkhead also has other concerns in regards to the child, "There are concerns about the health and safety of the child," Opri said. "These are things that will come out in court." Yeah, well I'm sure Howard K. Stern more or less challenging Birkhead to file a lawsuit during his recent appearance on Larry King didn't help things either.
Oooh, I have a feeling this is about to get very dirty. I heard on Good Day L.A. this morning that allegedly Birkhead wants custody of the baby if it's his and that he is also claiming that at one time Anna Nicole was taking Methadone (one of the drugs in the combo that killed Daniel) and that Stern was her hook up for it, alleeeedgedly of course!!!. Yeah, something crazy like that which you know I will be looking for more info on today. I still feel bad for Anna Nicole and her loss and think it's horrible that on top of that, she has to deal with this lawsuit from Birkhead. But saying that, this Birkhead guy got it in his head (he claims from Anna Nicole) that the baby is his. Seems that a lot of madness could have been avoided by just doing the paternity test instead of cutting off contact with the guy, no? But of course, this is Hollywood, not to mention, Anna Nicole Smith we are talking about and where that is concerned, nothing is ever normal.

If anyone saw her on the award shows as a presenter a few years ago, there would be no doubt she was taking something. She was so loopy and it was several award shows at that. I think one was in Austrailia...not 100% but the rest were in the states.
I remember one where they said she found a table of cookies and started eating like a madman and no one else would touch the cookies after her fiasco with them.

Birkhead must REALLY think that this baby is his. I mean, why would he go through all the trouble of trying to prove it? I feel bad for Anna, but she always seems to be getting herself in these messes.
I think he IS the daddy and Anna is being snowed by Stern. I really do think Stern is obsessed with her and is trying to cover this whole thing up with this fake commitment thing. What a flippin' mess and my guess is this is going to get uglier!!!!

Didn't you notice that Stern said he's the father but he never said "biological father"? Makes a difference.
I have never seen Anna Nicole act normal, she always seemed high as a kite...so, I believe she took some sort of drugs....what a crazy life she leads, poor baby though, this is not a good situation.
nobody ever says, "i'm the biological father." so maybe he just didn't think about it. anyway, birkhead should have filed establishment of paternity when she was pregnant. that's what my stupid ex did.
He claims she had the baby outside of the U.S. so they would not test for drugs. I keep thinking of the rumor that people heard Anna screaming at Howard that he caused Daniel's death. IF he is her methadone hookup and either he gave Daniel methadone or if Daniel got it from his mom with or without her permission... I was wondering why she wasn't returning home and now its looking like she might be afraid. Tragic. She also allegedly sold the pics of her fake wedding for a million dollars. I feel terrible for her, but I'm starting to seriously not like her. She needs to get help for herself and for the sake of her daughter. I do think that Larry dude is the father because from the minute she announced her pregnancy it was said he was the father..not necessarily by her..and he was her bf at the time.
Well that would explain her comment to Howard when she found her son dead. I believe the comment was "you caused this" Hmmmmm, what a story coming soon
yeah, i think stern is backpeddling totally. i think he had something to do with the methadone and a cover-up with the baby....anna does need help and hopefully somebody that really loves her will step up and take care of her. her mental state is very questionable.
Get in mah belly, you're right, no one says "I'm the biological father" normally but when 2 people are claiming it, it would not have been weird for him to have added that one word.
12:52 very interesting! I hope Birkhead does not have a long fight ahead of him because she is out of the country but I'm wondering if they are there because they knew it would be difficult for him to have a paternity test done.

i don't know if he did or did not say bio dad, but when i was watching larry king i thought he did. oh well. anyway, i hope her baby is loved to bits.
The only thing I remember him saying is he is the father and then adding "proud father". I don't recall biological being in there but I could be mistaken. This is one crazy story. Everytime I think Hollywood can't top itself in weirdness, it always comes through.
amy, i remember his saying "proud father," too, and the way he said it sounded very genuine because it was sort of the end of the interview. don't you think?
I don't know because its the only part of the interview I saw. Someone put that part on YouTube, I missed the show when it was aired. To me, and this is just from seeing that clip, he seemed spaced out and weird but I believe I'd be the same way after someone close to me died so I can't fault him there.
Come on. It is hard to feel sorry for Anna Nicole.
If this guy is the father of the child it is a very real concern that the child might be exposed to drugs. It is unfortunately also a possibility that this “father” is only looking for cash like Anna was in marrying a man so old he could have been her grandfather. I just feel sorry for the child.

Birkhead says he lost contact around the time of the birth of the baby...uh hello dumbass! She had a baby and her son died, why the frig would she be worried about being in contact with you?! If I were her lawyers I'd grab ahold of those teeny tiny little facts. Now about her fitness as a mother...
