UPDATE: DUANE "DOG" CHAPMAN & CREW FREE ON BAIL.

So my boy Dog The Bounty Hunter, his hottie son Leland Chapman and bounty hunting partner in crime Tim Chapman have all been released on bail in Hawaii, thank the sweet baby J. Dog's bail was a whopping $300,000 and Tim & Leland's bail was $100,000 each. The three men have to wear electronic monitoring devices until they return to court for extradition hearings to face trial in Mexico *shakes head.* This all stems from their 2003 capture in Mexico of convicted rapist Andrew Luster. Oh yeah, they also cannot leave their homes unless it's for work (ironic). According to reports, the courtroom was packed for the bail hearing and supporters stood outside with signs saying, "Let go our hero."
I swear, if that man has to do one more day of time in a mexican jail because of this, all hell is going to break loose!

And if he has to go to some Pancho Villa jail down south? The LA Riots will seem like nothing in comparison.

Good guys, all 3 of 'em.

Ashley Simpson being in the play "Chicago".

All they had to do was go back to the scheduled hearing in July, and this would have been over. They can't disregard a hearing date.

I question why didn't they know from the beginning that Mexico didn't recognize Bounty Hunters? If they claim to know the law, then this should not have happened. Just wondering out loud . . .

I don't see why the American government would WANT to help the Mexican gov't but I just read something about the U.S. getting a drug dealer from Mexico...

The whole thing was fabricated so they could have a prisoner exchange. The charges are strange to begin with. And having an American like Dog in jail is perfect for an exchange.

I am beginning to believe like some others concerning Dog Chapman. There seems to be an exchange that has been arranged. My opinion of the whole thing is that even though Dog and his crew have a rather unique operation, America needs more Americans like him. If I could have been outside the courthouse in Hawaii, I would have been. I love Dog, the crew, and the family. He has recovered criminals that the country's own law enforcement authorities could not. He is a man to be admired. The whole crew does a wonderful job of helping keep America safe. What is going on is wrong, very wrong. I have called Hawaii many times to give my support. I think the entire United States should and should also call the U. S. Marshall's corporate office and give them their opinion, also--of Dog and some of the really lousy law enforcement officials we have. Dog is unique in looks and operations, but, hey, HE gets the job done. I guess I have said enough, but I have been enraged since all of this happened and could write many more pages.

Get in mah belly (your name is hysterical!), no-one got fired for 9/11 in the FBI, CIA or any other dipshit agency, and George WARMONGER Bush is still in office, killing babies everywhere, so don't hold your breath on this one. Anon 12:05, you are right, people are incredibly stupid, they're called Republicans and the rest of the idiots who think Iraq has something to do with 9/11. The Mexican officials are pissed to shit at Dog and the boys cuz they took away a paycheck. You know the rich effing rapist was paying big bucks to stay in Mexico.

Poor get in mah belly, she's as naive as the rest of them. Let me help. When people get fired, they don't actually have a job or an income. Being "let go" and the given another job by the same people to replace the old one and never actually missing a paycheck is not being fired.

Contrary to what some people say, the Department of Justice doesn't have to extradite "Dog" to Mexico. Here is a link to an article that proves it (it quotes the extradition treaty between the U.S. and Mexico):

http://www.geocities.com/readerswrite/commentaries/Blessings_of_the_Liberty.htm#Add2

It's outrageous that the U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales goes after good Americans while millions of Mexican illegals violate this country as they please.

9:41 AM, September 19, 2006
Anonymous Anonymous said...

Yep anon 9:41...you nailed that on the head.

Call, e mail or write your local liberal congressman or senator. We treat illegals with white gloves in this country because we're too afraid we're going to "offend" somebody with the truth. And we STILL don't have laws in place to protect our OWN children from animals like Luster. It is a damn shame.

Blogger get in mah belly said...

Well, Beth Chapman made a great point on the phone interview with Rita Crosby by saying that states don't even extradite people for misdeamenors, let alone COUNTRIES! So, so, stupid.

Oh, and thanks TW. You rock!

Screw you, 7:04. He shouldn't have to do the time because there wasn't any crime. Not only is there strong suspiscion of a trade-off, but the only thing he's guilty of is putting a serial raper behind bars.
And you also don't need to insult other people just because they spell something wrong. This is a blog. You aren't required to spell right.
