ANNA NICOLE SMITH'S SON DANIEL FOUND DEAD.
*updated*Ugh. I am speechless. Anna Nicole Smith's 20 year old son Daniel died in the Bahamas Sunday. This is so terribly sad. You may remember him from her tv show and he always seemed so cute and quiet in the middle of all that madness. It appears Daniel died at Anna Nicole's bedside as she was recovering from giving birth via c-section to a baby girl on Saturday. I just heard on Entertainment Tonight it's rumored he may have died of a "massive heart attack," but as of now there is no official cause of death that has been released. According to the SF Gate.com, Reginald Ferguson, assistant commissioner of the Royal Bahamian Police Force, stated:
"Smith arrived Saturday night in the Bahamas, and apparently went directly to the hospital where he spent the night in his mother's room, Ferguson said. "It would appear from our report that the mother had gotten up, saw him in the chair and he appeared to be sound asleep," he said. "She tried to wake him up, he was unresponsive, and she sounded the alarm." Medical personnel arrived and pronounced him dead at the scene," Ferguson said.

On September 7th Anna Nicole gave birth to a healthy 6 pound, 9 ounce baby girl. Her son Daniel was in the Bahamas with her to share in the joy of his baby sister when he passed away suddenly on the morning of September 10th. We have yet to learn the cause of death but do not believe that drugs or alcohol were a factor. Anna Nicole is absolutely devastated by the loss of her son. He was her pride and joy and an amazing human being. Please do not make any press inquiries at this time so that Anna Nicole can grieve in peace.

As much as I love some juicy tidbits on celebs, you just never want to hear something like this. So sad.

She may be "wacky" but losing a child crosses all lines....... such a sad situation.

I think he probably died of embarrasment.
Gosh, first her step son and now her own son... Hopefully for her things will stop there and not happen in threes!
You forgot her husband although he was on death's door when she married him so tecnically this is 3. This is so very sad and I feel so awful for her. I can't imagine the pain she is going through right now and then having to take care of a new baby on top of that. My prayers are with her.

I don't understand how some people can be so nasty at a time like this. My sympathy goes out to Anna and her family.
Very sad. I just read about this. Gosh, I can't imagine taking care of a newborn while grieving for my other child. I hope she has a lot of love and support.
It never ceases to amaze me how insensitive people can be. Apparently those of you who chose to write such terrible things when a mother loses her son, obviously have no soul. Stop and think for a moment before you make your comments, or better yet, keep them to yourself. Anna has had her life splashed all over the media, and good or bad, it's still her life. Is it possible for any of you heartless people to offer an ounce of compassion?
i really want to cry for her. when one dies another is born. i've heard this and don't know where it comes from. where there is death, there is life...that's from the Bible i believe. i really am saddened because he was so quiet. I fear something bad happened to him to make him die...maybe too many pills or a drug? idk. i hope not. i just hope she finds the strength to take care of that beautiful baby girl because she is probably very rusty when it comes to newborn care. :-S
With all that could be said about Anna, it seemed like she genuinely loved her son. Such a sad thing. My prayers are with her.

No matter how "kooky" Anna seemed to be in the public eye, she is a person, a human being and she's felt more pain than a lot of us. Imagine having to bring a new life in this world and the same day her other only child dies? Do you know how many emotions can go through a person when something like this happens? She is an idd character, but my prayers go out to her. "Judge lest yee be judged."
this is so terribly sad. i love that boy. i feel so close to him. i feel like ive known him my whole life. i can never get him off my mind. we had so much in common. hes very special to me. this pain is too much. i love you Daniel...i miss you terribly. xoxoxo
