ROBERT DOWNEY JR. TO WRITE HIS MEMOIRS.
Actor Robert Downey Jr.(41) has signed a deal with HarperEntertainment to write his memoirs. The publisher said that it will be a "candid look at the highs and lows of his life and career. The only downside is that the book is expected to be released in 2008. Oh I L-O-V-E Robert Downey Jr! I am so glad that after so many years of struggling with his drug addictions, the guy finally seems to be on the right path. You can't argue with the fact that he is an amazing actor and aside from f'ing up so many times with the drug stuff, he's just one of those guys you really want to see succeed and beat all his demons. I have no doubt this book will be a page turner, just the prison stories alone ... eieie! Ironically, Downey plays a druggie in his new film "A Scanner Darkly," which opens today. I adore RDJ, but don't ever make the mistake of thinking he's kicked the drug habit. He's done it just a few too many times if you know what I mean.
That said, I hope he's around and making movies for a long time to come.
RDJ is sexy. It's not the mystery. Or the bad boy angle. He's just a sexy actor. Dam fine actor too.
His book could be an interesting read. He's suffering demons, you know... fighting addictions for life. We're always on his side.
I hope Robert Downey Jr. has a drug overdose and drops dead!..
He's one of the best actors today.
