MORE COMPLICATIONS FOR ROGER EBERT.
Ebert & Roeper's Roger Ebert,64, underwent surgery on June 16th to remove a cancerous growth on his salivary gland. Sadly, he developed complications this past Saturday and had to undergo emergency surgery after a blood vessel burst near the site of the operation. He is said to be in serious but stable condition and according to his family, is expected to make a full recovery. Ebert has been a real tough cookie over the past few years undergoing cancer surgery 3 times prior to remove malignant tumors once on his thyroid gland and twice on his salivary gland. It must be so horrible for him to have to go through this over and over again. Let's hope for a safe, speedy "two thumbs up" recovery for Mr. Ebert.

Definitely, a speedy bouquet of flowers from this side of the web.
Mr. Ebert is one of the few critics who can write a review about a bad flick without totally destroying the people involved. Get well wishes and new reviews soon....
Hope you have a swift recovery. Be well my friend...
