KATHY GRIFFIN CLAIMS HUBBY STOLE HER MONEY (WELCOME TO MARRIAGE).
Kathy Griffin was supposed to appear on Larry King Live last night, but being the D-List celebrity she is, was bumped for real news going on in the world. It sounds like the program was pre-recorded, so hopefully good 'ol Larry will air it soon. In the interview with King she reportedly spills the dirt on the reasons behind her divorce from husband Matt Moline, which People Magazine reports was finalized in May. Although it appears they are divorced, Kathy recently told the NY Daily News that they reconciled and are "doing the best they can." It's still not clear without watching the Larry King interview if she was saying this in jest or not, but early media reports are saying that Kathy reveals the reason behind the break up with Matt was because he was "sneaking into her wallet" and stealing cash from her totaling $72,000. Oh dear. I love my Kathy Griffin, but if she is serious, I don't know if announcing this on Larry King and branding her husband a money stealer is the best idea. Not to mention, wives consider their husbands wallets community property, why can't it be the same for good 'ol Matt?
There was also a rumor floating around that contrary to the reconciliation rumors, things did not work out and that Matt reportedly moved out of the house last year and would only show up to her house in the morning to "fake it" for the second season of "My Life on The D-List" cameras. What up with the faking thing? It's not like they are Nick & Jessica and the success of the show depended on she and Matt being together. Makes no sense. Maybe Kathy and Matt were trying to reconcile, but felt that while doing so they needed to live apart for a while but still spend time together. Agh, all the lies in Hollywood and if Kathy Griffin isn't beyond lying to her people, I don't know who to believe anymore. What I do know for sure is it's really none of our business and trying to figure this whole story out has given me a headache. I guess we'll just have to wait and see exactly what she says if/when the Larry King interview ever airs before a final judgment is made.

I really hope Larry King airs that interview soon. The situation is very confusing, to KG's fans at least. Of which I am a HUGE one. Love her!!
I'm very confused on how you steal money from your spouse (unless he lost it all gambling or something or looking at porn like Sheen) but I guess when you have that much money (hey even Kathy Griffen has THAT much when you compare it to regular people LOL) you have to keep it seperate? I don't know. I've never made as much as someone with a tv show so I don't know the rules but sounds weird to me.
I think she decided to tell this in response to it getting out that she was faking her marriage for season 2. A LOT of people really liked her hubby from season 1, so now I guess its in her best interest to tell this shit so people will be back on her side. Makes me sad. I guess there really are no real marriages in celebrity land. And $72,000? Really, Kathy? That's what you consider stealing enough to publically humiliate your own husband...with all the money you obviously have?? Not that anyone should steal, but come on..

I thought California was a community property state. You cannot steal what is rightfully YOURS. She is a dumb bitch. My SIL is an attorney in the Bay Area and divorced her hubby and she makes about 3 mil a year and she is having to pay him alimony for the next 3 years. KG should grow up and be respectful of her relationships. This makes me really dislike her to make such a big deal over 72k Good lord, is she near bankruptcy! DAMN!

I am one of Kathy's biggest fans, and I really do hope that her and Matt have reconciled and its not just for the show, I understand that she makes plenty of money but if you think about it, she works hard for her cash and 72K is alot of money! I dunno if spilling the beans to everyone about Matt taking it was a good Idea , BUT THATS HER CHOICE! I would be pissed off too if I found out my hubby was stealing my money!
Taking money from your spouse without telling them and when you know you were not suppose to is - stealing.
My wife spent over 20k from the savings I had for the kids and business development in just 4 months, after I had told her that money was never to be touched.
Life really sucks when the person you think you can trust the most turns out to be the least.

Well that makes her a low life thief in my book and the only reason she is still under my roof is cause I love my two kids more than anything, but she is to pay every cent back monthly or I'll divorce her.
