RUBEN STUDDARD AWARDED MILLIONS IN LAWSUIT.
American Idol winner Ruben Studdard has been awarded $2 million by a judge in a lawsuit filed against his former manager, Ronald W. Edwards. Seems that this jerk totally took advantage of Ruben and misused more than $246,000 of Ruben's hard earned money. According to the judge's ruling, Edwards stole from Studdard's checking and other bank accounts, improperly used his credit cards and even used Studdard's money to repay a $10,000 bank loan. Bastard! Don't go messin' with the Velvet Teddy Bear! The judge awarded Studdard $500,000 for his actual losses and another $1.5 million in punitive damages. Holla! Let's hear it for St-St-Studdard! Unfortunately, this jackass ex-manager filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy last year, so who knows if Ruben will ever see a penny of it. And to add insult to injury, Ruben's credit got totally messed up because of the fraud and it was really hard for him to get financing for a new home. I wish the judge would have also thrown this manager's ass in jail!

Wow, glad there was some justice for Ruben. Hope he can collect the money...
I saw him a couple of years ago at a hotel in beverly hills and he was completely stoned with his "posse". He also took up most of the elevator too. that guy is a walking heart attack!

Ruben is a good guy. I don't think his weight should be the source of ridicule... not after all he's accomplished.
Hopefully when he gets the legal matter settled he can think about his health. Maybe a gastric bypass, or just a serious diet & workout plan. I think he's one of those people that may try to diet but his system just stays heavy.

I know, but the same for Justin Guarini! Maybe they tour with the group of AI singers. Or just do background session work. Anyway, Ruben's good... he'll probably have another album in the next couple years.
Oh, NOW I remember him,LOL. He won AI season 2, right? Too bad Aiken overshadowed him. That was not fair.
Aiken, on that last finale of Idol, was VERY cheesy, very lounge singer. I thought the dark hair was okay... an interesting change... but he's not turning out good music. (IMO)
If Ruben were more for the camera, he'd be on a lot more projects by now.

I heard his next album is going to be a cover album; I think that's a bad idea, as most cover albums never sell well (like Mandy Moore and Wilson Phillips' last albums).
