KATE HUDSON IN DESPERATE NEED OF SCISSORS.

Here are some sweet photos of Kate Hudson and her son Ryder at brother Oliver's wedding over the weekend (nothing cuter than a mommy smooching her little boy). For those of you who are all ready to post in the comments, "excuse me, TW, you are wrong, she has a daughter..." I hate to break it to you, but you are wrong. I understand that long hair is all trendy and cute for some boys now (look at Pamela Anderson's kids), but this is just taking it too far. I know his mommy and daddy are all hippy and shit, but that poor kid doesn't know any better. I'm not picking on the baby in the slightest, the fact is, the child needs a haircut. Yeah, I said it!

Horrendous.

Only a mullet or an 80s tail would be worse.

Lay off people, my boys have longer hair than Ryder and we are stopped all the time to be told how gorgeous they are!

I'm probably going to go to hell for saying this about a kid, but he is not a very attractive kid, even without that awful hair.

This is just hideous. Only grown men can get away with the long hair look, little boys are ridiculous. He may hate her for this one day but considering the hippy family, probably not.

Historically speaking, boys have always had long hair. It's only very recently that they've worn it in the short, cookie cutter, let's all look like white supremist way. Cool they dare to be different!

I think the same thing every time I see a pic of this kid, that she should cut his hair. But, doesn't his dad have the same long hair? Maybe he really likes looking just like his daddy, it makes him feel proud or like a 'big boy' or something. Who knows. I guess I'm in the camp that gives them props for not caring what people think. It's good to teach kids that it's a good thing to be themselves. But to be totally honest if he were my kid, I'd still cut his hair! :)

Kate, if you are reading this.. please cut Ryder's hair already.. It was cute for ahwile but this is a bit ridiculous. He doesn't know any better so you should be the adult and cut his hair to a decent length.. DO IT!

usMaybe they are Jewish and they are waiting to celebrate his upsherin...which usually occurs at 3, but then again I don't know how old this kid is. In case you are wondering this isn't as rare as it seems

If he wants to 'look like Daddy' paste on a scraggily beard already.

I'm a guy, I have long hair and I think Ryder looks adorable. It's time society grew up and started thinking for themselves instead of blindly following cultural trends and stereotypes to mask their own insecurities. Little boys are not 'supposed to' have short hair, long hair, wear certain clothes etc. just as little girls shouldn't 'supposed to' look a certain preconceived way. Open your minds, people and be someone outside of what the world (and fashion mags & tabloids) say you should be.

yea they're Jewish and she'll cut it off once he turns 3. it's very sweet. i'm not jewish but i think it's a good idea. it tells the child he is growing up cuz it's a big event to cut it off.
