Ousted American Idol contestant Chris *swoon* Daughtry was a guest on Ryan Seacrest's radio show this morning and Ryan told Chris he will be presented an offer from a major band to become their new lead singer. Catch is, you (and Chris apparently) have to watch the show Extra tonight to find out who it is. Ok, that's annoying. Still, I'm happy for Chris because so often when a contestant is eliminated on Idol, we believe they will have a huge career no matter what. But sadly, more often than not, they fade away to never to be heard from again. Not this time! love it! There's no telling if Daughtry will accept this offer, and when Seacrest told him this was going to happen tonight, he seemed a bit thrown. Ryan said it was a band that Chris loved and was a huge fan of and if he thought hard enough he could figure it out. Guesses anyone? I just hope it is someone cool and not completely washed up, but extending an offer on "Extra" is kind of lame and makes me wonder. Developing...
