It looks like Star Jones is getting her ass booted off 'The View' vewy, vewy soon and just take a guess at who is rumored to be responsible.... dear old Barbara Walters. Page Six is reporting that an announcement will be made by ABC this week about Star's departure. It's said the peeps behind the show are working their spin machine to come up with some kiss-kiss nonsense departure phrase like "Star thought it was time to pursue other projects, Star feels she's done all she can do with the show or Star wants to spend more time with her husband gay Al and work on making a baby." Apparently, Rosie O'Donnell told her girl Barbara Walters that if she wanted her to do the show, she'd have to get rid of that former fatty Star to make room for her. A source told Page Six, "It was always Rosie's condition of joining the show, and Barbara agreed to those conditions from the outset." Currently, Star's camp is denying the claims but others say that Barbara Walters reportedly can't stand the biatch. If Star does indeed leave 'The View', there are whispers that Oprah's BFF Gayle King would be her replacement.

Personally, I think the show is ridiculous. "The View" - who's view? No one on that show looks like me, talks like me, or even has the same issues as me.
When they got Baba Wawa they added intelligence. Now that they'll have Babs and Rosie, the show might actually start being worth something.
I don't ever see this show because, um, like, I have a job. But on the rare days I'm sick and in need of entertainment during the day, I opt for a rerun of Saved By the Bell solely because it means I don't have to look at or listen to Star Jones.
I see the show cuz it comes on at night here - Bahrain. I can't stand Star and it'll be better w/ her off of it. I love Rosie and she'll bring a much needed facelift. Star thinks she knows everything... boring.
The best thing to ever hit daytime was rosie o'donnell!!!!!!! i ca't wait for her return ...and i'll be just as happy to see that 'thing' star make her exit!!!!!!

That is sad news! I was actually looking forward to the Star, Rosie, and Hasselback wars! That would have been great, and I would have watched, but now the excitement is gone. Good riddens Star!
I actually like star jones. I think that she adds a different "view" to the show that most people don't get to see. Ihope that she does well in her career and actully moves on to bigger and better things.
I like Star...She seems so much more intelligent than the rest. It is time for Babs to quit after this decision of having Rosie on the View. I used to Like Rosie until her claim to fame became her sexuality....
Rosie is going to take over the show. They just don't know...they have signed a deal with the devil.
I agree with you 3:23. I mean, I like Rosie. But putting her with an ensemble of 5 broads? Dunno.
Anyway, I hate the show and don't even watch it. BUT I do read enough comments, so I'll just offer a very uneducated opinion. Gayle King is a pretty nice lady, and therefore, she doesn't fill the bill for Star's exit! Wouldn't they need someone outrageous? Getting Naomi Campell in that seat would be WILD. Some bitch fights and screamfests for sure.
It's very sad that rosie is joining the show. Wherever she goes, "ugly" follows. But why not,in the absence of talent, ugly will do just fine.
As for Gale King, her only qualification is that she is Ophra's _______. But why not, the others probably got there the same way.
Bitch Dracula always makes sure that no one on the show is better than her --Barbara Walters. That's why the show is absent of any real talent. BW has a history of putting knives in other people's back so that she can drink there their blood without looking in there face.

Star was one of the most intelligent and articulate women on the view. Everyone hated Star when she was fat (Did you ever see the way Barbara glared at her?) Now no one likes her because she's thin. So what if she had a princess wedding. People are always jealous when you show happiness or talent. I wish Star the best of luck, and I am glad that she is getting away from that table of backstabbers. I always believed that "It is not what you know, but who you know", this scenario is proof positive. As far as the view goes, it can take a hike!
Wow, Star has really changed since she has lost her weight. She was so much nicer when she was plump. Now she has a major attitude. And thinks she is all that!! I wish she would tell us the truth about her operation that made her lose that weight so fast. Now she is to thin, she is going to blow away in the wind!!
I won't be watching the View. Don't care for Rosie O’Donnell at all. Now all she talk about is her causes for gay rights.
