DAVID SPADE TAKES A STAB AT DENISE RICHARDS.
Some of you may have already seen this, but I just watched a little 'ratzi video from TMZ where David Spade sticks up for his gal pal Heather Locklear to the press in his very clever Spade like way. You have to listen really closely to hear it, but when Spade is asked if he has any comment on the Heather Locklear/Denise Richards story, Spade replies, "Oh, I heard about that...She's still nursing the knife wound in her back." Booyah!

I saw the paparazzi catch Heather coming out of a restaurant yesterday. They asked her if she and Denise were still friends. Looking effortly beautiful, Heather smiled and said, "best friends." Obviously she's happy with her life and isn't losing sleep over Richie/Richards. Good for her. David was at the restaurant with her. The paparazzi asked him how he happened to run into Heather there or something..and he said that he hadn't run into her, that he sat right across from her at dinner. I love these two together and I hope they're actually a couple. They're not hiding, they're not acting like idiots. Loves them!
"If" - if it turns out that Richie wants more kids - and that these two marriages have been essentially over for a couple years... maybe everyone better let these people live their lives.
David Spade's a funny guy and maybe he can bring a few laughs to Heather's life right now.
