ANISTON BLAMES "FRIENDS" FOR CRAPPY MOVIE CAREER.

"Loooook, I can be sexy too!"

Even though the girl made a disgusting 1 million dollars per episode while starring on the television show Friends, Jennifer Aniston now seems to be looking at her role as Rachel Green as a curse. She is blaming the constant airing of Friends re-runs for the reason her movie career has been less than stellar. In the past two years since the show has ended, Jennifer has been trying to distance herself from Rachel, but finds it impossible because directors still see her as that character. She even went as far as to call her experience on Friends baggage. When speaking about the director of her new film Friends With Money, Aniston told Hotdog magazine, "Fortunately, we have directors like Nicole in the world who don't give a s**t! That baggage didn't stop her seeing me as an actor." Ouch. Oh Jennifer, I understand. I saw the fat girl who played Natalie on The Facts of Life being interviewed the other day and she said she had the same problem! Maybe the two of you should have lunch and exchange sob stories.

this attitude of Miss Aniston smells of ungratefulness... I would not mind to be type casted after 10 years of starring in a hit sitcom and getting 1million dollars per episode... and btw each episode was like 22 minutes so she probably was in like 8-10 of each show...

my God, how greedy can people get????

I think choosing roles in absolutely putrid films like "Rumor Has It" might be more to blame than her baggage.

maybe people see her as Rachel all the time because that's all she can play and everyone knows it...

She was lucky to get that role..she should be thankful.

I agree with her 100%. I hate seeing her in movies. If she's going to be in them, then I won't watch it because whether she likes it or not, she'll forever be Rachel Green.

I guess being skinny, beautiful, filthy rich, having Brad Pitt for a husband (although he did turn out to be a weirdo so I take that one back) and being on a hit TV show isn't enough for this greedy bitch. What more does she want? It's just like an ungrateful Hollywood snob to criticize their small beginnings because their humongous egos have eclipsed over the rest of the world.
I'm not spending any of my money seeing her crappy movies.

Hey she is just a pot/coke head and she *thinks* she actually has talent. Brad is not the complete weirdo in that pairing. Ms. Aniston is a nutcase. She should be grateful that her ugly schnoz makes her any money at all.

What the hell is Hotdog Magazine anyway. LOL

JA has gobs of charisma. Brad Pitt is a more of a billboard ad or underwear model. He doesn't need to star with Angie. She can pick any male actor and light up the screen.

As for Rumor Has It, apparently the script was completely changed from when she first signed on... to when it wrapped. She chose a specific project and they changed critical aspects of the story to make it a sort of dopey sounding movie. If she can land more roles like The Good Girl, that would be good. And she's getting good reviews for Friends with Money.

Otherwise, Brad Pitt is so tiresome. No class whatsoever. The magazine layout and impregnating the girlfriend: really bad moves.

I hate Maniston...she is an ungrateful, shallow bitch who is getting exactly the movie career she deserves.

i totally agree, aniston is really ungrateful. friends and brad pitt is the best thing that happened to her, and like someone said, the reason people only see her as Rachel Green is because she can only play Rachel Green. A lot of people apparantly like aniston but i think they might actually just be in love with rachel. She is not america's sweet heart. And whats with all this hate towards brad pitt and angelina jolie? do you think that they choose to have tabloids follow them? and is it their fault that they want to help other countries out of poverty and are a hot couple. I really haven't seen Jennifer Aniston donate any of her own time and money into reducing poverty.

Those are good points, and maybe people see her as her TV role.

I wrote some positive things about Aniston above because I really liked her in The Good Girl. I have never seen a full epi. of Friends. I remember there was a huge difference in quality, with snips from the earlier shows compared to anything later. Point being, I just think JA has a really likable style and is pretty with a great figure. Many of the Friends scenes though, were downright unfunny. The show was not great comedy by any means.

And definitely, walking by the set I might stay for 2 or 3 minutes, but what I noticed was this: hammy acting and really dopey jokes.

When the right film script comes her way, she can deliver. She certainly should be VERY grateful for Friends on many levels. A million or 2 per week??

But I don't think Pitt was any gift or blessing -- look at his character. Who wouldn't want to turn back the clock and erase that mistake! Dude's a jerk. And don't anyone give him credit for Angie's work. He's just hitching his wagon to her dreams!

What did Jennifer have that the other two females on friends did not have? Well it is definitely not talent; the only difference was that Jennifer was married to Brad. She seems to make it a habit to blame everything and everyone but her lack of talent for her her failures in the movies and her se;f-centerness for the end of her marriage.

Friends was an ensemble effort. It was a mediocre show with mediocre actors.
