I had just said that I was surprised that the Chinese hadn't heard about Jack being alive and BAM - they got him.
Quite a twist at the end!!
I absolutely hated the fact that he's already in the start of another bad day, but okay fine. I think Chloe's ex will be a good character...she said on some show or another he will be in the cast next season...and I LOVED the little thing with Martha and Aaron, LOVED that Martha helped take down the Prez. Buchanan and she whose name escapes me flirting was cute because I ended up liking her and wouldn't mind seeing her next season. Everything else..eh. Would have loved to have seen a lot of Curtis in the finale, but I guess it was Jack's night. Kind of anticlimatic really, but it was a good 2 hours of television. I guess when the season starts up again everything will be tied up nicely from this past season and we'll know what happened to the Prez, etc, but I always wish they would play things out more in the end. I HATED seeing David Palmer's casket...I kept telling myself, "that's not Dennis Haysbert, that's not Dennis Haysbert." Kinda silly, I guess, butI really hated seeing that. It was nice that they put in a little Edgar as far as the pic with Chloe. Someone told me Jack, I mean Kiefer said on some show the producers were shocked by the fans' reaction to his death, so I guess that's why they did that...but all in all, we lost so many of our most beloved characters in David Palmer, Tony Almeida, Michelle Dessler, and Edgar. We also lost the awesome Sean Astin/Lynn. Did it live up to what it should have after killing off all our favorites? Eh. Was a good 2 hours of television. That's my long-winded take.
awesome finale...good luck to Jack...hope he likes dried squid and soba noodles...he'll be lucky to get some food after going 24 hours w/out any...

The BEST finale I've watched all year! What a rollercoaster with Jack finally killing Henderson, then NOT killing Pres. Logan, than Martha sticking it to him in the end- THE BEST!
Poor Jack- I still keep wondering when he ever eats or goes to the bathroom, but hey, I guess that's assumed? I can't wait to see how he gets off that ship! I hear they are filming next season in London, so apparantly he won't make it as far as China before he swims ashore! January- hurry up!
I didnt forget about the Chinese dudes... i saw that coming!!! Then when Jack escapes next season we still have to deal with those guys working with President Logan!!! I love this show
