PEOPLE is reporting that 2 inside sources have told the magazine that the Cruise/Holmes baby has been born! KATE! HOLD ON TO THAT BABY!!!! GUARD IT WITH YOUR LIFE!

The Tomkitten has arrived. Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, the high-profile pair dubbed TomKat by the media, had a baby girl Tuesday, said Cruise spokesman Arnold Robinson. The baby, named Suri, weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces and measured 20 inches long, he said.
"Both mother and daughter are doing well," Robinson said in a prepared statement.
The name Suri has its origins in Hebrew, meaning "princess," or in Persian, meaning "red rose," the statement said.
The baby was born in Los Angeles but the exact location was not disclosed. MORE: AP
I am still not crazy about the name. Sorry. And Tom, what up with a Scientologist giving the baby a Hebrew name? Trying to stick it to Katie's devout Catholic father even more?

oooooooooohhh, on the same day as Brooke's baby girl????? There weren't any weird blackouts exactly 9 months ago, were there? If both their kids end up with shocking white hair...
5:32, ha. i am on the west coast so i haven't seen daughtry yet...will look closely tonight. He cannot be shorter than ryan, ryan must be standing on a box! Updated post...the baby is a girl. thank god, i can't imagine a boy with that name.

Hey. Hazim here...again. Suri's not a bad name. I haven't seen any pics of the baby but a better name would prolly be something along the lines as Specimen#210 from Mercury or something. Or maybe the silent birth was easy on Katie cos all she was doing was pushing out a pillow. haha.
TW, when Chris is standing next to Ryan tonight you definitely realize he's a very small man. Worse than that shrimp, Bo Bice : )
congrats! I would prefer a mini Tom, but a girl is sweet for Tom, he will find peace again, I love Suri! it means Princess in hebrew and red rose in Persan, so sweet!
I think the name sounds sweet, atleast it isn't Hubbard or whatever else was rumored.
gag me..unbelievable that anyone still likes these freaks..to each his own though.
Suri is short for "Surreal," which is what this whole thing is :)
Hey. Hazim here...again. Just thought I'd like to share that Suri in Malay means, get his..."housewife". My friend just told me and I'm like "yeahhhhh..."
I am happy for them. I hope they can start a somewhat normal life now (at least normal for celebrities) and maybe people will give them a little break.
