MADONNA & GUY: ON THE RIGHT TRACK.

Fans of Madonna and Guy Ritchie (me! me!) will be happy to hear that the couple seems to be working through their rumored "rough patch" quite splendidly. Even though I want guy Ritchie for myself, this is refreshing to hear, especially because so many folks in the Hollywood community seems to treat marriages like they treat their old, ripped underwear and just throw 'em out. Guy's father, John Ritchie, told Closer magazine that leaving England and coming back to Los Angeles for a while has actually helped Madonna and Guy put things back together.

"L.A. seems to have helped them. It's easier out there because there is less pressure," he told the magazine, "They seem to have left the bumps they were having over here behind them. You can never know that things will work, but they do seem to be fitting into each other more. They have put everything behind them and have gone to L.A. to enjoy themselves. They're able to go home at night and be together. They both want to see the children. They are going to have a good time out there and be a family."

Aww! Yay for the magic of Los Angeles, the land of hopes and dreams! He also added that their children Lourdes and Rocco were a big part in Madonna and Guy working through their differences to keep their family intact, "It's the children that will keep them together. The children are everything to them."
