SHANNON ELIZABETH'S HUSBAND SAYS, "PAY UP!"
Joe Reitman, soon-to-be ex husband to actress Shannon Elizabeth, has decided to try and get half of her earnings, property and assets from the time they shacked up together in 1997 up until their marriage in 2002. Joe is claiming that they had a good 'ol verbal agreement saying "they would be equal partners in the acquisition of assets. Um, okaaaay. Most notably, this would include money she made for the American Pie movies (howww convenient). If you are to believe Joe, Shannon also secretly transferred assets acquired during those years and he now believes he deserves half of those assets. Joe is also saying he put his own acting career on hold to support Shannon so she could make it big (achoo!bullshit!cough!).
All joking aside and although I doubt Joe would have turned down a big role for the sake of Shannon's career, you never know how true his claims could be. Unlike couples who meet, get married and divorced in a matter of a year, Joe and Shannon had a very long history together. Unfortunately, it was rumored that the cause of the divorce was because Shannon had an affair with someone she made a movie with, so I guess I can understand why he might be a little bitter. Even though Joe has been the butt of jokes in the media for many years because he looks pretty messy with all that crazy hair and shit and Shannon is a hot bitch, Joe is a good guy. I hung out with the lad on a few occasions through mutual friends back, back, back in the day (before Shannon) and he was just a sweetheart. So, best of luck to him. I do wish he would cut that hair though.

That just goes to show right there that beauty is in the eye of the beer holder.
If the guy is smart enough to go after all of her money you'd think he'd be smart enough to a) look good for this turbo-hottie, & b) never leave her side since you know every sleazy LA dude is going to hit on her!
Shannon Elizabeth is a gold-digger who used Joe to get to the top and then ditched him. Joe was already established as an actor, and nobody knew who she was. I met him at a club, he is the sweetest guy you'll ever meet.
