OH HOW I LOVE MY "DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER!"
O.K. I admit it. I am helplessly addicted to A&E's Dog The Bounty Hunter and overjoyed that a brand new season of Dog is starting Tuesday night. For those of you who don't know, Dwayne "Dog" Chapman is an ex-con turned born again Christian, kick ass bounty hunter who puts bad guys behind bars. Most notably, Dog nabbed that date rapist pig Max Factor heir, Andrew Luster after he jumped bail and fled to Mexico. My man Dog has been doing this for 27 years and has over 6,000 captures to his name. Living life in Hawaii, the show follows Dog and his bounty hunting crew as they go around the island picking up all those baddies who jumped bail and are very frequently, addicted to "The Ice." Dog's crew consists of his awesome wife Beth, who handles the bail bonds business, plus, is a tough ass bitch with a heart of gold. She is also beautifully white trash with teased up bleached blonde hair and wears short skirts and has big boobs--just the way Dog likes it. His sons Leland and Dwayne Lee also are part of the team along with buddy Tim Chapman. The thing about Dog is that although he is a bounty hunter, he shows his captures that he's got a heart too. I mean, after they nab a guy and throw 'em in Dog's big, black SUV, he always offers to put a cigarette in their mouth on their way to the jailhouse. Not to mention, if they are addicted to The Ice, he always, and I mean always, gives The Icees a big, inspirational talk on how they can get their life together and quit the drug. Now that is a good man. That's Dog Dwayne Chapman for ya, my guilty, guilty, pleasure.

Me too. I thought that I was the only one sucked in the lovely white trashiness of it all. Have you noticed how Dog is clearly balding in the back but still rocks the mullet. That's what I call dedication. As for Beth, well I think they should make a Beth doll action figure with jiggling boobs.

His oldest son Chris was adopted at age 5 and did not know dog existed until he was past 20. He has a drug problem and maybe his dad should show some compassion and help him.

You need to read my post better. I NEVER said Tim was his brother, I said the contrary, thank you very much. Plus, I never even mentioned Justin in the post, so you have no point there. I am also very well aware of what happened to Barbara and posted on it after it happened. If you took the time to look at the date of the post you will see this was done three months ago. LASTLY, I welcome your opinion about Dog on here, but don't start it off by criticizing me saying "if you love him so much maybe you should get your facts straight." I would love for the ones of you without falt cast the first stone. It must be nice to be perfect. Dog has had a rough life from childhood, prison, many failed marriages, etc. I think he is a wonderful person and means well. The bible says Judge not less ye be judged. If Dog is 57 then he has no business jumping on the bad guys, what do you think Leland and Duane Lee are there for? Dah!!!!!! It sounds like you watch a lot of DTBH to hate him sooooo much, if you can't stand him and Beth then don't watch them on tv. Yes, Beth does have a big mouth and Dog does call his prey everything but a white man, but they have to sike themselves up for the kill. In case you didn't notice, they always give words of encourgement before they turn them into the jail, sometimes food, drink, and a cig. are given to them also, and with a promise to bail them out again if they are worthy. So bash them all you want, I think they are wonderful people, doing a good job for society and only GOD judges us at the end of our time, and I believe Dog will be praised for all the good he has done, not the bad.
It's amazing how people are so quick to judge someone they don't even know! WOW! I personally love Dog and Beth and their whole family. BTW, "family" doesn't require a blood connection. If so, then adopted children would never be "family". Dog sees Youngblood (love the nickname) as family, so he IS family. Sure, Dog's children aren't all perfect. They are adults and make their own decisions. He can only try to guide them in the right direction. That's not an easy task. Just because some of his children have made poor deicisions doesn't mean he is not capable of helping those in need and who are willing to take the advice. Dog has been at this for many years and has impacted countless lives in an extremely positive way. He and his "family" are wonderful people and doing a wonderful thing!!!
When I first saw the promos for this show I thought: "oh my god, what trash, who would watch this and who is this guy". Well -- I do and I love it! My mom happened to mention that she surfed into it and that there was just something about him, I laughed and told her what I thought. But, she is my mom so I Tivo'd it and am now a complete Dog addict! He is so sweet and I love his and Beth's relationship and their love for their kids and animals and wanting to give people a second chance.
I have eaten my crow for judging and am so glad I did!
By the way, I am a middle class 45 year old widow (my husband was a judge and passed 6/06)he never got to see me hooked on the Dog, I do wonder what he would think.

I don't care what anyone else thinks but I truly love the Dog and his family. He has such compassion for what he does and such a love of his family. He is a good christian who does not judge people like so many other people in the world do. He is true at heart and I have truly fallen in love with the show and I am addicted to it because there is so much compassion and honesty. I feel that we are blessed to have the Chapman family in this world. We need more people like the Dog!
Duane Chapman is being scrutinized by many who do not know him. I do not know him, either, but I have viewed his demeanor with his wife and children, and I like the guy. Dog and Beth are pretty funny, lighthearted people who know how to communicate. They are actually intelligent (unless you count Dog's misuse of- or invented- vocabulary). They have great dynamics. They're real people with interesting jobs, who happen to have a t.v. show.
Dog's a good guy. I sincerely hope that his efforts of generosity and kindness, even tenderness, toward these people will come back to help him. What goes around, comes around. I will always support the man who cares about real people and does not live or love by society's "standards."

i am addicted to the dog as many of you are and i too feel he is a good person with a checkered past who decided to focus on something positive and use his past to counsel and help people...if he has just helped 1 person get off drugs and be a better parent to a child who did not asked to be brought into a family with drugs then it has all been worth it and it is a christian thing to do regardless of appearance, language, etc.

Dog, Beth and his family are awesome... I'm hooked... and whenever I see Beth get out of the car jiggling... I can't possibly stop looking at the screen (jaw to the floor)... Beth is so unbelievably HOTTT and those BOOBS... sweet Jesus! I can watch the show non-stop for days just to sit there in awe... sometimes I hate the cameraman for not getting a good angle... What I would give to be in Dog's shoes for one night... but back to the show... Dog had his past mistakes, but he's doing a really positive thing for the community, and he DOES change lives for the better more often than not... I like his style, I like his gear, his family is ULTRA Cool... Leland rocks... and whenever they get the camera over to Beth... I'm in HEAVEN !!! I even ordered the DVD sets of Season 1 and 2 so I could replay the parts of Beth trying on clothes (shopping) and the beach, and other scenes that I could never ever get tired of watching... aside from Mouth-Watering awesome boobs, Beth is one-hell-of-a-lady, sure she may come off with a strong personality, but then think about what the Chapman Family does for a living... She's a Bail Bondsman... you need a tough attitude and shrewd business sense or you'll be out of business alot quicker than you got in... as for all the haters that don't like to see Dog or Beth on a pedestal... get a life... if you don't like the show, change the channel, and don't criticize those who do like it, cause it's our perogative... I love the show! However I think that Leland and Tim should get some reconition and support in regaurds to the upcomming trial. All you hear about is the Dog! Yes he is great but he is not the only one faceing charges. I wish them all luck and I will pray for each of them!
