DID CLOONEY DEVASTATE HATCHER'S HEART?
A few days ago when I posted a story on Teri Hatcher revealing in Vanity Fair that she was molested as a child, someone asked in the comments section why would Teri come out now with this story and wondered if it was a way for her to get more publicity (yes, it's true, someone actually asked that). Well, Page Six seems to think they have the answer to why Teri finally went public with her childhood abuse and they blame it all on George Clooney. In the Vanity Fair article, they refer to a "mystery man" who so emotionally wrecked Teri after wooing her, screwing her and then just "disappearing," that it opened her eyes to finally realize the parallels in her life between her romantic failures and her history of abuse. After that, she realized she could no longer keep her demons hidden. The mystery man was identified to Page Six by "a well placed source" as being George Clooney. In the Vanity Fair article, writer Leslie Bennetts describes Teri's situation as such:"After an elaborate courtship, Hatcher opened her heart to a handsome guy who convinced her that she was entering a magical new relationship, only to have him disappear as soon as she'd let down her guard. He charmed, he conquered, he said, 'I'll call you,' and - poof - he was gone."
Being "seduced and abandoned by a world-class Don Juan" left Hatcher "emotionally flayed, stripped of every protective covering until she [was] nothing but exposed nerve endings," Bennetts writes.
"She is so emotionally bereft, so overwhelmed with grief, that it can hurt just trying to watch her cope with it."
"I have so much pain," Hatcher told VF. "I'm a woman who carries around all these layers of fear and vulnerability . . . Oh, my God, can you believe what a mess I am?"

Clooney's rep told Page Six, "I doubt Teri Hatcher is your source, and unless she is, you're full of [bleep]. I doubt very seriously that your source is credible."
If this whole story is true, it will make me really sad cuz I lovvve me some George Clooney. I know that he has the reputation of being a big ladies man and all, but doing something like that is just terrible. Unfortunately, it's a fact of life that some of the cutest ones are the worst heartbreakers.

not long before she claims she was sexually assaulted as a child by her uncle, she revealed she's had botox to help her with her "aging beauty"; has anyone stopped to consider that perhaps, she's saying she was molested as a means of distracting the public into forgetting the fact that she's had some help from a syringe? i for one, don't buy it. nowadays, there's so much stuff being covered up and stacked under various new headlines in hopes that the old ones eventually get forgotten. think about it.
She runs in the same circles as he does, she should have known his rep.
This biatch makes me sick. Its one thing to put her own business out there, but now she's telling that she had a sexless marriage, even though her ex-husband was as well known or more well known than she was back in the day, could have a comeback just as she did, etc., and now she's trying to smear George's name? This crazy ho may have assumed things or fell for a silver tongue, whatever, but girlfriend is in her 40s, grow the f up. Take responsibility for being stupid enough to think this man was gonna settle down with your bony ass. Having no sense of privacy whatsoever bothers me. And, besides, George is MY man.
to the person at the top who said she might be doing this to cover up using botox. how stupid. everyone in hollywood uses botox and no one cares. if she wanted to hide that botox fact, she never would have admitted to it. and if she did want to do something to cover the big botox secret she revealed up, why would she do something horrible like talk about child molestation. you are cruel for making light of her situation. i'm embarrassed for the type of person you must be to think that about someone.
I agree with dru. Molestation is not something someone talks about to cover up botox. If she was with Cutie Clooney, I'm quite sure she knew what she was getting into, he doesn't hide who he is. I think the article is alluding to someone else, but the tabs want to make it seem more exciting. Lay off about the molestation. That had to be really hard for her and her uncle did go to jail, where I hope he's getting as good as he gave to those young girls!
