GEORGE JEFFERSON'S NEIGHBOR HAS DIED.

Franklin Cover, the actor who played George Jefferson's goofy, lovable neighbor Tom Willis on the TV show The Jeffersons has died. Cover was 77 years old and died of pneumonia Sunday at the Lillian Booth Actor's Fund of America home in Englewood, N.J. His publicist said he had been living at the home for the past two years while recuperating from a heart condition. So sad to see so many of the people we grew up watching on television now dying. I loved him on the Jeffersons!! Oh well, I guess he's really going to a deluxe apartment in the sky now (you know I had to throw that in somewhere!). Rest in peace Willis!
