FAMED DIRECTOR ARRESTED FOR SOLICITING COPS WHILE DRESSED IN DRAG

Um, ok...this is REALLY weird. TMZ.com is reporting that director Lee Tamahori ('Die Another Day,' 'XXX: State of the Union,' 'Along Came a Spider' and 'The Sopranos,') was scheduled to be arraigned in court today on charges of allegedly soliciting an undercover cop while dressed in drag. Let me make this clear...Tamahori was dressed in drag, not the cop. TMZ claims that on January 8th, Tamahori "approached an undercover officer who was in his car, entered the vehicle and offered to perform a sex act for money." Not surprisingly, cops arrested his ass. His arraignment was continued to Feb 24th and he is out on $2,000 bail. When contacted by TMZ, Tamahori's lawyer, the infamous Mark "Winona has receipts" Geragos was unavailable for comment, but I can't wait to hear what he has to say once he does speak. Ok, freakin, freakin, freakin weird! Ya know, approaching men dressed in drag is nothing new in Hollywood, just ask Eddie Murphy and Danny Bonaduche. But being the one DRESSED in drag and soliciting someone to give them a blow job when you are an established director and not hard up for money is um, unique. It's a strange, strange, world people.
