KATIE HOLMES, FULL TIME BABY MAMA.
The ever reliable Sun is reporting that Katie Holmes has decided to ditch acting and be a full-time stay at home mom once she gives birth to her and Tom Cruise's baby. She already seems to be getting in a little practice by going to ALL of Tom Cruise's daughter Isabella's soccer games. The paper quotes a friend saying, “Katie has decided to give up acting altogether. She’s been telling friends that she and Tom have decided it is best she stays at home and brings up their new baby. She is at the perfect age for so many screen roles and has completely closed the door on a promising career.” Who knows if this is true, but if it is, I say more power to her. Enough kids are raised by nannies in Hollywood and if Katie wants to give up acting for a while to raise her child, she should be able to without anyone making judgement.

I hope this is true, all I want is for her to fade from the public eye and if quitting acting will do that faster, then yay!
I agree that there is not enough support for full-time moms and I applaud her...IF the decision is hers. I think that people are talking about this because of the fears that scary Tom is controlling her, and this is one more step in that direction.
