Oh man, this is turning out to be the weekend of death! Yikes! It's said they die in "three's" right? This has been a really weird group of three to say the least. Well, the third death thrown into the weekend tabloid mix is that of E Pierce Marshall, 67. You may all know him better as the man battling Anna Nicole Smith for the obscene amount of money left from his late father's oil fortune. A spokesperson for his family said he died of "an extremely aggressive infection." Weird and very sad that he couldn't live to hopefully win this court battle against Anna Nicole one day. You know that bitch is probably happy! Cha-Ching!

Very sad indeed. It's gotta be very tough to fight for something that long and have to check out so close to the end.
Sad but true. It's a shame people spend the better part of their lives fighting over money rather than enjoying the life they have left. Greed is a duel edged sword!

I am aware that my late husband's son E. Pierce Marshall has died. The media has been contacting my attorneys in an attempt to get my reaction. Out of respect for his family's request for privacy, neither my attorneys nor I will be making any comments.

I doubt Anna will get it. Marshall already had the money and was enjoying it, per Texas judgment. Now, it will pass to his heirs. Whether the legal wrangling continues will be up to the family in one respect and Anna Nicole in another.

Umm... are you Anna's PR person dude? Not sure what charity has to do with it but I have read articles about several charitable donation concerning the Marshalls in Houston.
I think she deserves the money hell yeah. You don't give someone all that money and then leave them homeless. She was married to him she deserves it.
This woman deserves NOTHING from his estate. She was left nothing in the will. She says that he promised her half of his estate verbally. Personally, I think that is a bunch of BALONEY! I think she is a gold-digger and only married the old man for his money.
