ANGELINA TO PLAY DANIEL PEARL'S WIDOW IN FILM.
I'm sure all remember the heartbreaking story of murdered Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl, who was horrifyingly abducted and viciously beheaded by Islamic extremists in Pakistan in early 2002. His widow, Mariane Pearl, who was pregnant with their first child at the time of his death, wrote a memoir entitled A Mighty Heart, that chronicles her emotional search in Pakistan for her husband after his abduction. It is now being reported that Angelina Jolie will play Mariane Pearl in the film adaptation of A Mighty Heart. Although they look nothhhhing alike, I think Angie could do a great job in this role. It's not surprising that she has the starring role, considering Brad Pitt is the producer of the film and owns the rights to the story. If Daniel Pearl is going to be featured at all in this, I just pray the actor they get to play him ain't Pitt. Yes, he is talented and all, but this is such a serious subject, we don't need the whole "Brangelina" nonsense taking away the real focus of the film.

Come on! Why her? She's gonna kill it. lmao. Why cant they give the role to some other actresses? Like Halle Berry for example. She would be more suited than LIPS. lol. And what does Whorelie knows about being a good wife? What a joke. Guess she was begging for the role since its Brads company production that do own the right for the film. Maybe she cant handle the fact Brad might took an interest on the leading lady if they give it to some other actresses since he'll be producing the film. lol.
I think it is a bad role for angelina. It is just not her 'type' of film. Playing a caring, loving, devoted, etc. person seems a bit out of character for her. And I don't mean that as she in real life doesn't fit that, I mean Lara Croft doesn't fit that. Mrs. Smith doesn't fit that. None of her other things fit into this type of film. I don't necessarily think Aniston should have gotten it either, she is more comedy, but she wuold be better suited to it than angelina. Maybe Reese Witherspoon or someone like that would be better.

I don't care that she's pretty or committed to world causes. She seems authentic. But she's a beautiful face who gets lots of attention BECAUSE she's a pretty face. The reason the media cover this is because she's a glamorous actress, nothing more, nothing less.
Let's remember, they sold the baby pictures... which was never money out of their own pocket. Readers paid for that. They have *not* lived humble lives while donating millions from their OWN projects. So Angie The Saint, I don't think so. Working actress. End of story!
also, as much as I don't like Halle Berry she would've been good for the role. She also looks like Mariane Pearl.
Hilary Swank would've been good too. She can ACT, the Oscars prove that.
But let's face it. We're on the horrible Brangelina glamour train for another year or two. Angie will keep adopting kids and using the kids to make her look like a Saint.
Here's my bizarro casting suggestion for a surprise twist: the person who gets mutilated and has their head chopped off should be played by Jenn Aniston, in makeup! Haven't these two destroyed her in public time and time again?? Angie is ruthless, Pitt is worthless and Aniston is being made to look like the bad guy.

This shit is un-FUCKING-believable. It's like Hollywood has taken a thousand steps back into time, to the period where they had White people playing the roles of ancient Egyptians!
Angelina Jolie is playing a BLACK WOMAN? Absolutely ridiculous. It's obvious that Hollywood is still disgustingly prejudice. They don't want to give this role to a black actress, because the film is SURE to garner major attention because of the Daniel Pearle murder story. They want a WHITE actress to be in the center of it all when all the press zooms in on the film. They don't want any black actress receiving accolades for a film that will be controversially popular.
On a different note, fuck MARIANE PEARL, because I'm SURE she had some input on who she wanted to portray her in this film, and she co-signed having a white actress. Mariane, have you looked in the mirror lately? YOU'RE BLACK! It's obvious that you're black. Even if you don't think so, you're black.
Next thing you know, we're gonna have Tiger Woods wanting Kevin Costner to portray him in a film about HIS life!
