SEN. JOHN MCCAIN READY FOR HIS "24" CLOSE UP

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) will be making a "don't blink or you'll miss it!" cameo appearance on the Feb. 6th episode of "24." A big fan of the show, McCain was visiting the set when producers asked him if he'd like to become part of the CTU family (at least for a couple seconds). McCain will be playing a CTU worker who walks up to Audrey Raines and hands her a file. It's a non-speaking cameo, so keep your eyes glued to the screen if you want to see him. In the past, McCain has criticized the shows depiction of torture, but was still able to find humor with his appearance on the show. On Tuesday he joked to reporters, "I shoot one guy's kneecap off, only one, A red-hot poker is planted in someone's chest, but other than that, there is no torture."
